The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is steadfast in connecting communities and improving people’s lives. Ulticon Builders, Inc. (UBI) shares with the AFP, not only this mission, but also the tenacity and courage to embark on the most challenging projects and operations amid precarious socio-political conditions. As UBI builds world-class infrastructure that opens the countryside to progress, the AFP helps usher in progress through peace and order.
To support the AFP in this shared mission, UBI provided assistance to the Barracks Construction Project of the Philippine Army’s 403rd Infantry (Peacemaker) Brigade in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon in February 2020. The project aimed to improve the personnel’s living and working conditions – starting with the barracks. UBI donated construction materials such as bags of cement to be used for the barracks floor. Through improvements in the camp, the Philippine Army and UBI hope to motivate the Peacemaker Brigade to perform with excellence even as the demands of their duties increasingly become more arduous.
Another testament that UBI and the AFP are partners in nation building, this project was made possible through the efforts of Mr. Rudolph C. Lopez, UBI Bukidnon Audit Officer, and Colonel Ferdinand T. Barandon, Acting Commander of the Peacemaker Brigade, which tirelessly protects people and property from harm against armed rebel groups in Malaybalay City.
