UBI, Improving Training Schools for Future Soldiers

The Philippine Army envisions itself to be a world-class army that is a source of national pride by 2028.  In making this vision a reality, in parallel, the Philippine army is also further strengthening national security.  Ulticon Builders, Inc. (UBI) is one with the Philippine Army in this vision and commits to contribute in various ways to quality training for future soldiers.

In February 2020, UBI supported the enhancement of the 4th Division Training School (4DTS) in Camp Osito D Bahian, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.  The school is tasked to provide Basic Soldier Skills for the organic personnel and future members of the Philippine Army 4th Infantry Diamond Division, which is in the center of protecting people from insurgency threats and maintaining peace and order in Valencia, Bukidnon.

UBI provided four tons of cement to 4DTS for the renovation of its facilities, including comfort rooms.  The company’s donation helped augment the required fund, speeding up the completion of the project to ensure students get to experience sooner a hygienic environment conducive to learning.  UBI Vice President Rudolph Joseph C. Lopez, 4DTS Logistics Officer Teopisto M. Rubi Jr., and 4th Infantry Diamond Division Acting Commandant Ronald M. Illna made the project happen.

More partnerships between the Philippine Army and UBI are either in progress or in the pipeline as UBI President and CEO Charlie Gonzalez wills not only for the company to be a major force in the construction industry, but also in being a partner of the government in bringing about peace and progress.
